feats New York 23-20The Jets, in their first game with interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich replacing fired Robert Saleh, had a shot to beat the Buffalo Bills despite numerous mistakes including a stunning amount of penalties and a couple of huge missed field goals. Aaron Rodgers found Williams downfield for what looked like a massive gain that would have put the Jets inside the red zone. But as Williams started to come back to the ball, he fell down. That allowed Bills cornerback Taron Johnson to dive in front of Williams and get a game-clinching interception. h

Jets Score a Hail Mary at the End of the First Half

The Jets had a good first half, with strong performances from Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson. They also made a change at play-caller, which seemed to help. However, the biggest play of the half was a lucky Hail Mary touchdown by Allen Lazard. It was his fourth Hail Mary touchdown in his career, and his first with the Jets. Maybe he has a special talent for catching these long passes.
